CONCERNING
CATEGORIZATION OF ANIMAL QUARANTINE DISEASES, CATEGORIZATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF CARRIERS

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE,

Considering:

• a. that for the purpose of refusal and prevention of dissemination of the animal quarantine disease in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia and in the inter-regional areas in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, it shall be deemed necessary to make classification of the types of the animal quarantine disease and also the classification of the carrier thereof;
• b. that in relation with the abovementioned points and to follow up the Articles 85 and 77 of the Government Regulation No. 82/2000 regarding the animal quarantine, and Article 5 of the Government Regulation No. 49/2002 regarding the Rate of the Non Tax State's Revenue Effective in the Ministry of Agriculture, by referring to information from the Office International des Epizooties (OIE/World Animal Health Organization) and also based on the development of science and technology, it shall be deemed necessary to stipulate the classification of the types of the animal quarantine disease and also the classification of the carrier thereof.

HAS DECIDED:

To Stipulate:

FIRST:

Classification of the types of animal quarantine disease and also the classification of the carrier thereof.

SECOND:

Classification of the types of animal quarantine disease as referred to in the FIRST dictum shall be referred to in the Appendix I of this Decree.

THIRD:

Classification of the carrier media of animal quarantine disease as referred to in the FIRST dictum shall be referred to in the Appendix II of this Decree.

FOURTH:

Classification of the types of animal quarantine disease and also the classification of the carrier thereof as referred to in the FIRST dictum will be re-stipulated following the development of science and technology.

FIFTH:

Decree shall take effect on the date of issuance.
